I am very pleased to share with you the 2018-2019 Report for the Ukulele Kids Club France. The project got off to a good start in March this year after a a year long of discussions and a great effort of fundraising .
During 13 weeks, I was able to provide music therapy through the ukulele in groups and individually at the paediatric hospital, the Institut Saint Pierre in Palavas-les-Flots in the South of France.
A total of 71 children (aged 6 months to 14 years) participated:
49 children were seen in a group context, and of these 49 children, 37 children participated at least a 2nd time
22 children were seen individually: in inpatients, in the rehabilitation centre, at socio-educative centre, in the childhood obesity unit, or in the kindergarten integrated at the hospital site.

This project will now continue for the next year with another source of funding. And I am waiting to hear again from the hospital about the funding. Fingers crossed that everything can continue next year.
Thank you for all the donors, friends and of course Corey Bergman, founder of the Ukulele Kids Club and Marlen Rodriguez-Wolfe, Board Certified Music Therapist and Outreach Director coordinating all the 8 Ukulele Kids Club around the world.
Thank you for all your confidence and support for this beautiful project that allows children to cope better with their disability and/or illness as they can have access to moments of relaxation, play and well-being. You are awesome!
Thank you for changing the world one ukulele at a time!
Musical regards 🎶
